EID Registration and Help

  • User Information Update
    • View and update your personal information related to your EID.
  • EID Register
    • Request an EID.
  • e-Supplier EID Register
    • Create an e-Supplier account.
  • Two-Step Verification Registration Portal
    • You must be enrolled to ensure continued access to Marriott applications enabled with this security protection.
    • If you ARE enrolled in Two-Step Verification, you can access the registration portal to change or recover the verification method (SMS Text, Entrust Mobile App or Printed Grid) you selected.
    NOTE: If you are already enrolled in this process, you do not need to register again.

Password Management

  • Password Guidelines
    • Before choosing your new password, please read the password policy guidelines below to make sure that the password you select meets Marriott standards:
      • Must be at least eight characters long
      • Must contain at least one upper- and lower-case alpha characters
      • Must contain at least one alphanumeric character
      • Must contain at least one special character
      • Must not match your EID or contain any portion of your EID
      • Must not contain three repeating characters (example: xxxx5)
      • Must not contain spaces
    • Keep your password strictly confidential. Do not share it with anyone or leave it where anyone else can find it, and don't let others look over your shoulder as you type it.
  • Self-Service Password Management Tool (Identity Shoppe)
    • The following capabilities are available in the Self Service Password Management Tool:
      • Known Password Reset: Click link if you know your existing password and would like to change it.
      • Forgot/Expired Password: Select the link if you have forgotten your password or if it has expired.
        Note: You must know your security questions or be registered in Two-Step Verification (2SV). If you do not know your security questions or are not registered in 2SV, contact the Marriott Service Desk (See ‘Additional Assistance’ below).
      • Set/Reset Security Questions: Click link to set or change your security challenge questions.
  • CTRL+ALT+DEL Password Reset
    • Use CTRL+ALT+DEL on Marriott-imaged devices that are connected to the Marriott network. An Active Directory ID (AD ID) is needed to perform this function.

Additional Assistance

Assistance from the Marriott IT Service Desk is available via the Marriott Service Portal (a Marriott EID is required for access):

  • Report an issue: Select GET HELP >> select Desktop, Technical & Hardware Support >> then select Technical & Hardware Support for any Desktop Support, PC, Mobile Device, Email, Hardware or Network Connectivity, and Password issues. Submit your ticket.
  • Chat with live agent: From the main Marriott Service Portal page, click Live Chat to chat with a live agent. The chat feature is available in multiple languages.
  • Issues that are revenue impacting or impacting your productivity can be reported to a live agent at
    +1 (240) 632-6000.

NOTE: Marriott will charge the property each time an employee speaks with a live agent for assistance resetting or unlocking passwords in support of the company's business process optimization efforts. Properties will not be charged for using Marriott's Self-Service Password Management reset tools, described above. More information on Service Desk fees.
